Adventure on Ice: MiniTrekking in the Perito Moreno Glacier
Prepare for a unique and unforgettable experience in the majestic Los Glaciares National Park. Once at the "Bajo de las Sombras" port, you will board a boat to cross Lake Rico, arriving on the opposite shore after approximately 20 minutes of sailing in front of the imposing southern face of the Perito Moreno Glacier. Upon disembarking, you will be greeted by our expert mountain guides, who will lead you to a cozy refuge with a privileged view of the glacier. From here, the trek begins! We will start the tour with a walk along the lake shore, keeping our eyes on the glacier to ensure we don't miss the opportunity to witness calving. Next, the guides will give a talk on glaciology. The glacier circuit is of medium difficulty; the ice surface is uneven but firm and safe. During the walk, you will be able to appreciate a variety of typical glacial formations such as deep crevasses, blue sinkholes, enormous seracs, and turquoise lagoons.
We will begin our day with a transfer from your accommodation in El Calafate to Los Glaciares National Park. The journey begins in the private port of La Soledad, located 47 kilometers from El Calafate. From there, at 9:00 AM, you will set sail towards the North Channel of Lake Argentino. The ice floes, which some know triple the size and volume of our boat, will decorate the passage through the Upsala Channel, from where you can see the Upsala Glacier (the third largest glacier in the Southern Patagonian Ice) about 15 km away. . After you go inside the National Park, you'll have free time to watch and tour the park's catwalks and viewpoints, all at different heights, which will give you the perfect opportunity to see all the best sides of the glacier. The highlight of this experience is that you'll be free to wander the corners of this UNESCO World Heritage site. In the afternoon, you'll head back to El Calafate and be dropped back at the Bus Station.

In this full day adventure through Chilean lands you will have as main attractions the Sarmiento de Gambia Lake Viewpoint, the Paine River Falls, the upper viewpoint of Almirante Nieto Hill / Cuernos del Paine, and the entrance to Laguna Amarga. The tour starts at 6:30 A.M. where you will be picked up at the Hotel. Then you will go to the border crossing "Cancha Carrera" through a gravel road to enter the Republic of Chile. Once inside the Torres del Paine National Park, you will be able to follow the different trekking trails, where, accompanied by local experts, you will be provided with a snack for lunch. Please note that there will be several hikes, the longest being approximately 1 hour and a half. It is recommended to be in good physical condition.
Full day in El Chaltén with trekking to Laguna de los Tres
The most spectacular and unforgettable trekking in southern Patagonia. The visit to Laguna de los Tres is a classic of El Chaltén and one of the most beautiful viewpoints for the panoramic views of Fitz Roy. Although it is one of the longest trails, it is worth it. The activity will start with the pick up from the hotels at 06:00 AM. Then you will take the mythical Route 40 bordering the Lago Argentino and start your trip to the town of El Chaltén. You can make the Fitz Roy Trail for 8 hours, covering a total of 20 km to reach 1,200 meters high. You will pass through different sceneries, some more wooded, others more austere and with water mirrors until you reach Laguna de los Tres. During the winter season, the main landscape is snow. We provide you with crampons and poles so you can walk safely. The first 4 kilometers will be to warm up, with an incredible view of the Rio de las Vueltas Valley. -Activity of high difficulty, only suitable for people between 16 and 50 years old.
