Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel or meeting point in Nairobi. Drive through the stunning Great Rift Valley with a stop at a panoramic viewpoint for photos before continuing toward Maasai Mara. Arrive at your camp/lodge in time for lunch and a short rest. In the afternoon, head out for your first game drive, focusing on areas where wildebeest herds are gathering. Your guide will begin tracking movement patterns, often heading toward the Mara River or nearby plains where predators follow the herds. Expect sightings of elephants, giraffes, zebras, and possibly lions or cheetahs as you approach migration zones. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

After an early breakfast, depart with packed lunch for a full-day safari dedicated to the Great Migration. This day is flexible and guided entirely by wildlife movement. Drive toward the Mara River—one of the most dramatic locations during migration season. Spend time at key crossing points where thousands of wildebeest gather, often hesitating before making the dangerous crossing through crocodile-infested waters. Your guide will position the vehicle strategically for the best viewing and photography opportunities. You may witness crossings, predator action, or massive herds stretching across the plains. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush, surrounded by wildlife. Continue tracking herds throughout the afternoon, adjusting routes based on fresh sightings and radio communication between guides. Return to camp in the evening for dinner and relaxation after an intense and rewarding day.

After breakfast, you will check out of the camp to head back to Nairobi with an optional Masai village visit to learn about their unique culture and interact with them. You will have a stopover to have lunch and a chance to buy souvenirs. You will arrive in Nairobi by 3:00 pm.
