Arriving at the Glen Docherty viewpoint with breath taking views over Loch Maree and the village of Kinlochewe. We will stop for a photo opportunity and to enjoy this moment.

The route passes adjacent to Loch Maree, with over 60 islands, under the gaze of the Torridon mountains and the dominating Munro mountain known as Slioch, until we reach the impressive Victoria Falls, named after Queen Victoria, who visited there in 1877.

We will make our way along the winding single track road to the seaside village of Gairloch. We will stop at the Gairloch Museum, located in a converted nuclear bunker with galleries showcasing the history, culture and natural heritage of this beautiful area of the northwest highlands. Displays include the original lens from Rubh Re lighthouse, a replica croft house showing how people used to live.

Following the coastline, we reach Gruinard Bay offering another stunning viewpoint with a further photo opportunity.

We will travel along the coast by Little Loch Broom adjacent to the Dundonell mountain range enjoying the rugged mountain views and Little Loch Broom. We will stop at a viewpoint for a further photo opportunity.

The tour will make its way back towards the fishing village of Ullapool, the gateway to the northern isles of the Outer Hebrides. Here you’ll have free time to enjoy the ambiance of the area, local retail outlets, eateries, or indulge in a light refreshment and local hospitality.

We will have a comfort stop at Silver Bridge, Garve, with a photo opportunity, to view the cascading waters over the mini falls.

We will endeavour to see some Highland Cows at secret locations. However these are periodically relocated by their owners for grazing.
