We'll begin the Waqrapukara tour by picking you up from your hotel at 4:00 a.m. and traveling south, passing by Pomacanchi Lagoon, until we reach Sangarara, where you'll enjoy breakfast. Afterward, we'll continue to the community of Rinconada, the starting point of the hike. During the hike, we'll appreciate the flora, fauna, and beautiful Andean landscapes until we reach the impressive archaeological site of Waqrapukara, known as the "Horned Fortress," located atop a hill overlooking deep canyons. With your guide, you'll explore its main areas, such as Intipunku (the Sun Gate), the main plaza, the towers, the terraces, the Wiracocha sector, and the rock paintings, and you'll have free time for taking photographs. Finally, we'll return to Sangarara for lunch and then on to Cusco.
