Gyeongbokgung Palace was the first and largest of the royal palaces built during the Joseon Dynasty. Built in 1395, Gyeongbokgung Palace was located at the heart of the newly appointed capital of Seoul and represented the sovereignty of the Joseon Dynasty. The largest of the Five Grand Palaces Gyeongbokgung served as the main palace of the Joseon Dynasty.

Cheongwadae, also known as the Blue House, is the Korean presidential residence. Located in central Seoul, visitors may visit Cheongwadae through an official tour. The presidential office, reception hall, and conference room are located in Cheongwadae's main building. The residence's grounds have a pond and gardens that reach to the foot of Bugaksan Mountain.

Jogyesa-Tempel
Jogyesa Temple is located in central Seoul and it is one of Korea's major Buddhist temples. The temple also serves as headquarters for the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism, the largest sect of Korean Buddhism. The temple's main hall is called Daeungjeon Hall and the famous statue of the seated Buddha is enshrined here. Baeksong, a white pine tree that is more than 500 years old stands next to Daeungjeon and it is a Natural Monument of Korea No. 9. Due to Jogyesa's location in the heart of Seoul, huge numbers of tourists visit the temple to experience Buddhist culture.

Insadong
Nowhere exudes more local and traditional charm than Insa-dong, a quaint neighborhood in the center of Seoul that transports visitors back to a time when women wore hanbok and men rode horses. With its wooden tea houses, boutique galleries and street vendors selling traditional snacks, a stroll through Insa-dong is mandatory for all visitors, especially on Sundays when the streets become traffic free and come alive with street performances, buskers and throngs of young and old who have come to experience one of Seoul’s most fascinating and creative neighborhoods.

Seoul K-medi Center
The Seoul K-Medi Center, located in the center of Korean herbal medicine culture, is an oriental medicine complex cultural facility that promotes the excellence and safety of traditional Korean medicine through various exhibitions, education, and experiences. The building is unique in that it harmonizes the simplicity of modern architecture with Korean elegance. Visitors can enjoy various experiences in many different facilities in the center, including the Herb Medicine Museum, where one can expand their understanding of Korean medicine by examining over 300 types of medicinal herbs and their effects.

Kwangjang-Markt
As one of the most vibrant traditional markets in Seoul, Gwangjang Market is based in the center of the city so it can easily be located by even first-time visitors. This historic market opened in the early 20th century and is home to a number of clothing and food stalls, offering tourists a taste of traditional Korean cuisine. Starting with "addictive gimbap," one of Koreans’ all-time favorite snacks, and nokdujeon (mung bean pancake), visitors can sample a range of Korean delicacies. Other traditional treats such as tteok-bokki (stir-fried rice cake) and eomuk (fish cake) are also available. It is worth visiting the food stalls since most dishes are reasonably priced.
