Cat Cat Village is one of the most famous and must-visit ethnic minority villages in Sapa, located just 2 km from the town center. Nestled in a stunning valley at the foot of Fansipan Mountain, Cat Cat offers travelers a unique opportunity to discover the authentic culture, traditions, and daily life of the Black H’Mong people.
As you trek through the winding stone paths, you will admire traditional wooden houses, terraced rice fields, and the beautiful Cat Cat waterfall. Visitors can also watch local H’Mong artisans weaving colorful brocade, crafting silver jewelry, and performing traditional dances.

Y Linh Ho Village is a small and tranquil H’Mong settlement located along the Muong Hoa Valley. Unlike the more touristic Cat Cat, Y Linh Ho remains peaceful, authentic, and surrounded by breathtaking terraced rice fields.
The trek to Y Linh Ho will take you through narrow trails, mountain slopes, and bamboo forests, offering visitors a chance to truly immerse themselves in Sapa’s natural beauty. Here, travelers can interact with local families, learn about their subsistence farming lifestyle, and witness the incredible skill of the H’Mong people in cultivating rice on steep mountain slopes.
