Afternoon: Our journey begins with a scenic 2.5-hour drive from Sandakan to the Sukau jetty, passing through rustic countryside and picturesque villages.

Kinabatangan River
Afternoon (approx. 15:00): Arrive at riverside homestay in Sukau village and enjoy a welcome from your local host family.
Late Afternoon (approx. 16:00): EGet ready to start away your first 2-hour wildlife river cruise adventure! trusty guide will steer through the winding waterways in pursuit of wild wildlife, jolly proboscis monkeys, impressive hornbills, and if luck smiles upon you, the elusive Borneo Big 5 which includes Pygmy elephants.
Sunset: As dusk falls, your guide will pause the boat in a quiet bend of the river. Now begins unique literary experience: a dramatic yet immersive reading from gibbons echo in the distance and the air cools.
Night: Return to the homestay for a delicious, authentic home-cooked meal made with fresh local ingredients. Sleep to the live orchestra of the rainforest in private room.
