A true nature lover’s dream, this experience features a scenic 30–50 minute hike through lush surroundings leading to a beautiful waterfall with a large plunge pool, ideal for swimming and relaxation. The soothing sound of cascading water creates a peaceful atmosphere where visitors can unwind and enjoy the beauty of this spectacular natural landscape.
On the way to the falls, we will make a brief stop where you can purchase local street food. You may choose to take it along for the journey or enjoy it on the spot while “liming” with the locals for an authentic Trinidadian experience.

Your guide will meet you in the hotel lobby and provide a brief introduction before accompanying you to the vehicle. From there, you will depart the hotel and travel along the highway, with the guide offering insightful commentary on the towns and villages you pass.
Upon arrival in the village of Matura, you will embark on a scenic 45–60 minute hike through the Matura Forest, immersing yourself in the natural beauty and tranquility of this unique ecosystem.
