The Tower of Belém is one of the most recognized symbols of Lisbon. Built in the 16th century, it had defensive and ceremonial functions, and is now classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The Jeronimos Monastery, built in the 16th century, is one of the most important works of the Manueline style. Associated with the Portuguese Discoveries, it is also the graveyard of historical figures such as Vasco da Gama and Luis de Camões, representing one of the country's largest architectural and cultural legacy.
