After about two hours of driving, you will stop in the endemic Argan forest to witness the incredible sight of goats climbing trees to eat the fruit, followed by an optional visit to a local women's Argan oil cooperative to learn how this "liquid gold" is produced for culinary and cosmetic use. After another 45 minutes of travel, you will arrive at the main attraction, the Medina of Essaouira, where you will have free time to explore the historic UNESCO-listed streets, visit the bustling fishing port for fresh seafood, and walk the iconic seaside ramparts at your own pace before the return journey.
