Harissa cable car — a wonderful ride above Jounieh Bay From underground to above the clouds — board the famous Harissa Téléférique at the Jounieh seafront and ride comfortably up to 650 metres above sea level. As the cable car ascends, Jounieh Bay spreads beautifully beneath you and the Lebanese mountain ranges rise ahead — the views are genuinely spectacular and the ride itself is a thoroughly enjoyable experience for the whole family. Our Lady of Lebanon — a beautiful and uplifting mountaintop shrine At the mountaintop, the beautiful bronze statue of Our Lady of Lebanon stands with arms outstretched toward the Mediterranean — 8.5 metres tall and one of the most recognisable religious monuments in the Middle East. Surrounded by the lovely Maronite Basilica and neighbouring churches, Harissa is one of Lebanon's most visited and most cherished pilgrimage destinations — a place of real beauty and tranquility that moves visitors of all faiths and backgrounds. The panoramic views over the Lebanese coast from up here are simply magnificent.

Lunch in Jounieh — optional waterfront stop After descending from Harissa, Jounieh's beautiful Mediterranean waterfront is right at your feet — a lively seafront lined with welcoming restaurants serving fresh Lebanese mezze and seafood with wonderful views over the bay you just rode above. A lovely and relaxed optional finale before the short drive back to Beirut.
