Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen Jinja-Schrein
Step back in time at this historic sanctuary, part of the Mt. Fuji UNESCO World Heritage site. Unlike crowded tourist spots, this shrine offers a mystical atmosphere surrounded by towering, ancient cedar trees. It was traditionally the starting point for pilgrims climbing Mt. Fuji. A perfect place to soak in the spiritual energy and Japanese culture.

Mt. Tenjo
Take the cable car (Ropeway) up to the summit of Mount Tenjo. From the observation deck, you will see the most famous panoramic view: Lake Kawaguchi stretching out below and the majestic Mt. Fuji towering across the water. You can also ring the "Bell of Tenjo" for good luck and see the cute statues from the "Kachi-Kachi Yama" folklore.
