Pick up from your location or hotel early in the morning (around 6:30–7:00 AM). Drive approximately 2–3 hours to Akagera National Park, enjoying scenic Rwandan countryside views.

Upon arrival at Akagera National Park, you will begin your game drive, exploring the park’s diverse landscapes of savannahs, woodlands, and lakes. Spot wildlife such as elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and a variety of birds, while your guide shares insights about the animals and park ecosystem. Depending on your tour, there may be a lunch stop at a designated picnic area or lodge. In the afternoon, continue exploring the park or enjoy an optional boat ride on Lake Ihema to see hippos, crocodiles, and waterbirds.

After the day’s activities, return to Kigali or proceed to your overnight lodge inside or near the park.
