After your driver-guide picks you up from your hotel in Paris, let him drive you to Normandy where your English-speaking touristic guide will start the D-day tour.( American D-Day Experience)
Arrived in Bayeux around 11 am, you will have 2-2:30 hours to visit the downtown and enjoy a short break for lunch .(at your own expense).
Spend the afternoon discovering one of the landing site of the World war II. Meet the local guide around 1:30-45 pm from Bayeux with a local guide company with a comfortable minivan and travel along the picturesque Norman coat to Pointe du Hoc, a German battery devastated by US soldiers on D-Day. Return to the vehicle for the short drive to Omaha Beach and delve into the dramatic procession of D-Day events that unfolded on this beach.
Overhanging Omaha Beach, you will find the American Cemetery and Memorial of Colleville-sur-Mer, inaugurated on July 18th of 1956, where you will have some free time to discover the site, after the explanation of your professional guide.
