Owakudani Kurotamago Kan
Owakudani ist einer der beliebtesten Orte in Hakone. Owakudani sind die dampfenden, vulkanischen Thermalquellen im Zentrum der Berge. Schwarze Eier, die in schwefelhaltigem Wasser gekocht werden, um den Eierschalen eine besondere Farbe zu verleihen. Die Japaner glauben, dass das Essen schwarzer Eier die Lebenserwartung um einige Jahre verlängert – im Durchschnitt sieben Jahre! Bei gutem Wetter hat man von hier aus einen sehr klaren Blick auf den Fuji.
