Your adventure begins with pickup from your hotel in Cusco, usually between 5:00 and 6:00 a.m., depending on your confirmed train schedule. Travelers staying in the Sacred Valley are normally picked up later. Our team coordinates all transfers and timing for a smooth start to the day.

Travel through the beautiful Sacred Valley to Ollantaytambo, where you’ll board the Vistadome Panoramic train. Relax beside wide windows as the journey follows the Urubamba River from the Andean valleys into the lush cloud forest.

Arrive in Aguas Calientes, also known as Machu Picchu Pueblo. Your guide will meet you near the train station and walk with you to the bus terminal. From there, enjoy a scenic 30-minute ride up the famous winding road to Machu Picchu.

Present your original passport and entrance ticket before entering Machu Picchu. Your guide will lead a fascinating 2–3-hour tour through the terraces, temples, viewpoints, plazas, and sacred spaces included in your confirmed circuit. We request Circuit 2 whenever available because it offers one of the most complete classic visits. If Circuit 2 is sold out, we will book the best available official alternative, usually Circuit 1 or Circuit 3. Your guide will adapt the tour to your confirmed route so you can enjoy the best possible experience.

Enjoy the return journey aboard the Vistadome Panoramic train. Selected departures may include music, a cultural presentation, and light refreshments; onboard services vary by schedule. Upon arrival at Ollantaytambo or the confirmed station, our transportation will be waiting.

Travel back to Cusco by comfortable tourist transportation. Drop-off at your hotel is usually between 7:00 and 8:00 p.m., depending on the confirmed train schedule and traffic conditions.
