Zhangye Danxia Geopark
Your guide will pick you up from your Lanzhou city hotels lobby and take private vehicle to the Railway Station. You will take the morning train to Zhangye which takes about 4 hours.
The Danxia Geopark was developed about 200 million years ago , it was mainly constituted by red gravel, sandstone and mudstone, with the imprint of a clear arid, semi-arid climate. Known for its colorful rock formations, it has been voted by Chinese media outlets as one of the most beautiful landforms in China.
Accompanied by your tour guide, take park's battery bus and stop at 2-4 different sightseeing platforms, enjoy amazing view of the nature and take many photos.

Dafo-Tempel von Zhangye
Erkunden Sie als Nächstes den Dafo-Tempel. Der Tempel, auch bekannt als „Wofo-Tempel“ (Tempel des schlafenden Buddha), ist sehr berühmt, da er den größten schlafenden Buddha in China beherbergt. Der Tempel wurde ursprünglich im Jahr 1098 erbaut und im Laufe der Geschichte viele Male umgebaut. Heute sind noch seine ursprünglichen Hauptgebäude erhalten: die Halle des Riesenbuddhas, die Halle der buddhistischen Klassiker und die Lehmpagode.
Schlendern Sie mit Ihrem Reiseleiter durch die Hallen und Höfe und erfahren Sie mehr über die Geschichte des Buddhismus, seinen Glauben, seine Menschen und seine Seele.
Nach Abschluss der Tour bringt Sie Ihr Reiseleiter zum Bahnhof Zhangye, von wo aus Sie mit dem Zug zurück nach Lanzhou fahren (ca. 4 Stunden). Nach Ihrer Ankunft holt Sie Ihr Fahrer am Bahnhof Lanzhou ab und bringt Sie zurück zu Ihrem Hotel in der Stadt Lanzhou.
