Welcome to the World of Urushi Guided Tour of a 100+ Year-Old Lacquer Factory Experience urushi — Japan’s precious natural lacquer — at our historic refining factory, founded in 1909.The tour begins with a clear introduction to urushi and the urushi tree (excluding Fuki-Urushi Workshop).
