Verbotene Stadt – Das Palastmuseum
We will meet at the agreed meeting point, where the guide will welcome you briefly before beginning the visit to the main entrance of the Forbidden City: the Meridian Gate (Wumen), where you will know its historical importance.
Once inside, we will make a brief introduction using the map of the complex to better understand the structure and history of the imperial palace.
We will visit the Imperial Furniture Museum, where you can admire furniture from the Ming and Qing dynasties, including thrones and unique historical pieces.
We will continue to tour the central axis, visiting the main halls of the outer court and the residential area of the Emperor and his family. We will also explore the Palace of Accumulated Elegance, related to Empress Dowager Cixi.
The experience will end in the beautiful Imperial Garden.
