Red Fort
The Red Fort was the residence of the Mughal emperor for nearly 200 years, until 1857. It is located in the centre of Delhi and houses a number of museums. In addition to accommodating the emperors and their households, it was the ceremonial and political centre of Mughal government and the setting for events critically impacting the region.
Constructed in 1648 by the fifth Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, the Red Fort is named for its massive enclosing walls of red sandstone.

Humayun's Tomb
Humayun's tomb is the tomb of the Mughal Emperor Humayun. It was commissioned by Humayun's son Akbar in 1569-70. It was the first garden-tomb on the Indian subcontinent. The tomb was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1993.

Lotus Temple
The Lotus Temple, is a Baháʼí House of Worship that was dedicated in December 1986. It is notable for its flowerlike shape. Like all Baháʼí Houses of Worship, the Lotus Temple is open to all, regardless of religion or any other qualification.
The building is composed of 27 free-standing marble-clad "petals" arranged in clusters of three to form nine sides, with nine doors opening onto a central hall with a height of slightly over 34 meters and a capacity of 2,500 people. It is known for its outstanding design and architecture.
