Visiting the Giza Plateau is like stepping directly into the pages of ancient history. As travelers approach, the three great pyramids rise sharply from the golden desert—Khufu (the Great Pyramid), Khafre, and Menkaure—each one an astonishing display of ancient engineering. Their massive limestone blocks, weathered by time yet still powerful and geometric, cast long shadows that shift as the sun moves across the sky.
Walking closer, visitors can see the precise alignment of the pyramids, their sides almost perfectly oriented to the cardinal directions. The Great Pyramid dominates the skyline, and standing at its base makes you feel incredibly small—each block is nearly as tall as a person.
Not far from the pyramids rests the Great Sphinx, carved directly from the bedrock. With the body of a reclining lion and the enigmatic face of a pharaoh, it watches over the plateau with an expression that has fascinated travelers for thousands of years.

Großes Ägyptisches Museum
Inside the Grand Egyptian Museum, step into one of the most impressive cultural spaces in the world an architectural masterpiece that blends modern design with the spirit of ancient Egypt. The moment enter the soaring atrium, they greeted by the colossal 10-meter-tall statue of King Ramses II, standing proudly beneath streams of natural light that pour in from the glass façade. Around him, massive statues and royal monuments create a breathtaking introduction to Egypt’s pharaonic grandeur.
From here, visitors flow into vast, beautifully curated galleries that take them on a journey through 5,000 years of Egyptian history. One of the most awe-inspiring highlights is the complete Tutankhamun collection, displayed together for the first time. Tourists can admire the young king’s golden treasures—delicate jewelry, ceremonial weapons, intricate chests, and everyday objects he once used—each piece showcasing extraordinary craftsmanship.
As they move deeper into the museum, guests discover

Khan Al-Khalili
El Khalili Bazaar is one of Cairo’s most vibrant and enchanting places—a living tapestry of colors, sounds, and scents woven together in the heart of the old city. As your tourists enter the bazaar’s narrow, winding lanes, they are instantly transported into a world that feels both ancient and alive.

Große Cheops-Pyramide (Khufu)
As we stand in front of the Great Pyramid, take a moment to imagine that you’re looking at a monument built more than 4,500 years ago—without modern machines or technology. The closer you get, the more impressive it becomes. You’ll notice the enormous limestone blocks, each weighing several tons, perfectly stacked to create one of the greatest engineering achievements in history.
If you choose to go inside, you’ll walk through a narrow ascending passage that leads to the King’s Chamber, where the granite sarcophagus of King Khufu still rests. The experience is simple but unforgettable, giving you a real sense of the mystery and history of Ancient Egypt.
From outside, you’ll also enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of all three pyramids, making this one of the most iconic photo spots in the world.

Taltempel von Khafre
Here at the Valley Temple, I’ll show you one of the oldest and best-preserved temples in Egypt. As we walk inside, you’ll notice the huge limestone walls covered with smooth granite brought all the way from Aswan.
I’ll point out the original granite floor, which is still in place after more than 4,500 years, and explain how this temple was used during the king’s funeral rituals before his burial.
You’ll also see the sockets where 23 statues of King Khafre once stood, and I’ll help you imagine how magnificent the temple looked when it was complete. Finally, we’ll stop at one of the best viewpoints to take great photos and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere before continuing to the Great Sphinx.

If you’d like to experience Cairo from a different perspective, you can also choose an optional traditional felucca ride on the Nile River. This peaceful sailboat moves with the natural wind—just as Egyptians have traveled on the Nile for centuries.
As you relax on board, you’ll enjoy beautiful views of Downtown Cairo, with its historic buildings, modern skyline, and the lively atmosphere along the riverbanks. It’s the perfect opportunity to slow down, take memorable photos, and enjoy one of the most authentic experiences on the Nile.

Before we continue, I’d like to let you know that we have a few optional educational stops. If you’re interested, you can visit places where you’ll learn how papyrus paper is made, discover the traditional process of producing natural essential oils and perfumes, see how cartouches are handcrafted with your name in hieroglyphics, or explore a local spice and herbal center.
These visits are completely optional—there is absolutely no obligation to buy anything. They are designed to give you a deeper understanding of Ancient Egyptian traditions and local craftsmanship. If you’d rather skip them and spend more time at the archaeological sites, that’s absolutely fine too. Your comfort and preferences always come first.
