Food samples—lifelike replicas of dishes—are a staple at restaurant entrances across Japan, a unique cultural tradition that originated between the Taisho and early Showa periods (1910s–1930s).
At Food Sample RiKi, you can try your hand at creating your very own replica to take home! The basic experience fee is included in the tour, but optional add-ons/decorations are available for an extra charge.

Specializing in fresh, handmade tofu and health-conscious cuisine, Nukumori-batake offers a peaceful spot to relax and recharge. You’ll enjoy a delicious, wholesome lunch here. Lunch costs are fully included in the tour fee.

Umeshugura Oyama is an award-winning plum wine (umeshu) distillery celebrated both in Japan and internationally.
You’ll enjoy a brewery tour, a hands-on workshop to craft your own plum wine, and plenty of time for souvenir shopping.
The brewery tour and plum wine making experience are included in the tour fee.
A non-alcoholic plum syrup option is available for non-drinkers or children.
