Day 1 – Guatemala to El Salvador: Route of Flowers Experience Begin an unforgettable journey from Guatemala to El Salvador, traveling through the picturesque western highlands of the country. After an early departure from Guatemala, we will cross the border at Las Chinamas and continue toward the famous Route of Flowers, one of El Salvador’s most beautiful and culturally rich regions. Our first stop is Ahuachapán, a charming colonial city surrounded by coffee plantations and volcanic landscapes. We then visit Concepción de Ataco, renowned for its colorful murals, artisan shops, cobblestone streets, and welcoming atmosphere. Continuing along the route, we explore Juayúa, famous for its local gastronomy and vibrant traditions, before visiting Nahuizalco, a historic town known for its indigenous heritage and handcrafted products. Throughout the day, enjoy spectacular mountain scenery, coffee-growing landscapes, local culture, and opportunities to taste traditional Salvadoran cuisine.
