Embark on a 5-day tour that will take you to explore the best of Cusco and its surroundings. Start with a City Tour of Cusco, visiting the Qoricancha and nearby ruins. A shuttle will pick you up at your hotel to start the tour to the Temple of the Sun (Qoricancha), a sacred place for the Incas, dedicated to the worship of the sun, where you can see walls covered with gold. Then, the tour will continue with a visit to the four ruins near Cusco. The first is Sacsayhuaman, a majestic fortress built with large blocks of stone, famous for its architectural perfection and panoramic views of the city. We will then visit Qenqo, a ceremonial site with carved rock formations that served for Andean rites, followed by Pucapucara, a watchtower fortress that controlled access to the city. Finally, we will arrive at Tambomachay, known as the “bath of the Inca”, a place related to water cults, featuring impressive aqueducts and fountains.
The tour will end at Plaza Regocijo, a beautiful square in the historic center of Cusco, where you can rest and enjoy the peaceful surroundings after a day full of history and culture.
