Pigeon Valley is a lovely valley located near Uchisar town named after the thousands of pigeon houses carved into the soft tufa since ancient times and offers another spectacular panoramic view over Cappadocia together with the spectacular views of the dovecotes.

Dating back to the Hittites in the 12th Century BC, Uçhisar has been governed by Persians, Romans, Byzantines, Seljuks and Ottomans. As it linked the east and west along the Silk Road in years gone by, so today Uçhisar is uniting the world.

Originally a Byzantine-era (9th century) monastery, it is reputed to be both one of the earliest settled and last-abandoned monasteries in the entire region. The 'museum' houses the oldest known examples of Cappadocian architecture and religious paintings.

Das Paşabağ-Tal, auch als Tal der Priester bekannt, erstreckt sich über ein sehr großes Gebiet, das von pilzförmigen Feenkaminen umgeben ist. Das Devrent-Tal, auch „Imagination Valley“ genannt, ist eine der fantastischen Regionen Kappadokiens. Das Tal ist auch einer der beliebtesten Orte in Kappadokien. Reisende können hier die wunderschöne Mondlandschaft Kappadokiens erleben und genießen, die wohl surrealste Landschaft der Region.
