Wir beginnen unsere Tour auf dem historischen Greyfriars Kirkyard der Stadt, wo JK Rowling beim Schreiben der Bücher viel Zeit verbrachte. Hier sehen wir mehrere Namen auf Grabsteinen, die Charaktere der Serie inspirierten, darunter William McGonagall und Thomas Riddell.
Von hier aus sehen wir auch zwei mögliche Inspirationen für Hogwarts in Form von George Heriot's School und Edinburgh Castle.
