to enjoy Cairo City Tour by visiting the most interesting Egyptian Museum, which features artefacts from the Pharaonic period.
The museum displays a rare collection of 5000 years of art which is considered the largest most precious collection of Egyptian art in the world.
Over 250,000 overwhelming artefacts are presented, gold and jewellery which was enclosed in his tomb for over 3,500 years.
Then proceed to visit Mohamed Ali mosque the Alabaster Mosque inside the Citadel of Salah El Din. Lunch will be served in a local restaurant.
Continue driving to the area of Islamic Cairo, where you will be able to explore Khan El Khalili, Cairo’s old bazaar.
Then we move on to Coptic Cairo to visit the Hanging Church, Ben Ezra Synagogue, Church of St. Barbara, and Church of Abu Serga.
Later you will be transferred back to your hotel.

Das Museum ägyptischer Altertümer
Das Museum für Ägyptische Altertümer, allgemein bekannt als Ägyptisches Museum oder Museum von Kairo, in Kairo, Ägypten, beherbergt eine umfangreiche Sammlung altägyptischer Altertümer. Es umfasst 120.000 Objekte, von denen ein repräsentativer Teil ausgestellt ist, der Rest in Lagerräumen. Das 1901 vom italienischen Bauunternehmen Garozzo-Zaffarani nach einem Entwurf des französischen Architekten Marcel Dourgnon erbaute Gebäude ist eines der größten Museen der Region. Seit März 2019 ist das Museum für die Öffentlichkeit zugänglich. 2021 soll das Museum durch das neue Große Ägyptische Museum in Gizeh ersetzt werden.

Koptisches Kairo
Das koptische Kairo ist ein Teil von Alt-Kairo, der die Babylonische Festung, das koptische Museum, die Hängende Kirche, die griechische St.-Georgs-Kirche und viele andere koptische Kirchen und historische Stätten umfasst. Der christlichen Tradition zufolge besuchte die Heilige Familie dieses Gebiet und blieb am Standort der Kirche des Heiligen Sergius und Bacchus (Abu Serga). Das koptische Kairo war sowohl vor als auch während der islamischen Ära eine Hochburg des Christentums in Ägypten, da die meisten seiner Kirchen nach der muslimischen Eroberung Ägyptens im 7. Jahrhundert erbaut wurden.
