Your adventure begins with hotel pickup in El Calafate. Meet your guide and travel by 4WD toward the legendary Route 40, crossing the vast Patagonian steppe on the way to the Santa Cruz River.

After a safety briefing and kayaking instruction, begin a 15 km (9-mile) downstream paddle on the Santa Cruz River, the same waterway explored by Charles Darwin during his voyage through Patagonia.
