Once you arrive in Hue, begin your city tour at the Imperial Citadel. Walk through the majestic gates, explore the Forbidden Purple City, and discover the history of the Nguyen Dynasty, Vietnam’s last royal family.

Located along the Perfume River, Thien Mu Pagoda is the oldest pagoda in Hue and one of the city’s spiritual icons. The seven-story Phuoc Duyen Tower is a must-see symbol of Hue.

Unlike other imperial tombs, Khai Dinh Tomb blends traditional Vietnamese elements with European Gothic influences. It’s the most artistic and architecturally complex royal tomb in Hue. After a full day of sightseeing, your driver will take you back to Da Nang via Hai Van Tunnel or the scenic Hai Van Pass, depending on your preference. Arrival is expected in the late afternoon or early evening.
