We start the day by picking you up from your hotel between 6.00 - 7.00 am. We will start the tour in Chinchero, a picturesque town known for its colonial church and spectacular views of the Sacred Valley. Visit the handicraft market and the church of Chinchero, and enjoy a traditional weaving demonstration in one of the local communities.

We will then continue to Maras, where you will explore the famous salt pans of Maras. A unique landscape with thousands of salt ponds that have been used by local communities since pre-Inca times. The guide will explain how salt is extracted and the historical importance of this resource.

Then we head to Moray, a mysterious archaeological site composed of circular terraces believed to have been used by the Incas to experiment with different types of crops. The guide will explain how the Incas used this structure to adapt the crops to the climatic conditions of the valley.

On our way through Urubamba we will stop for our delicious buffet lunch.

After lunch, we continue to Ollantaytambo, an ancient archaeological complex and an impressive fortress. We will tour its terraces, the Temple of the Sun, and enjoy panoramic views of the valley.

Our last stop will be in Pisac, famous for its handicraft market and archaeological complex that sprawls over the surrounding hills. Visit the impressive agricultural terraces and enjoy the views of the valley. The market is a perfect place to buy local handicrafts and textiles, while learning about the living culture of the region. After a day full of history, culture and natural beauty, we will begin our return trip to Cusco with the opportunity to relax while enjoying the beautiful Andean landscapes.
