Kolosseum
The Colosseum is one of the most famous landmarks in the world and a powerful symbol of ancient Rome. Built nearly 2,000 years ago during the Roman Empire, it is the largest amphitheater ever constructed and could hold tens of thousands of spectators.
The Colosseum was used for public spectacles such as gladiator battles, animal hunts, and dramatic performances. These events were often grand and intense, reflecting the culture and entertainment of ancient Roman society.
Today, the Colosseum stands as a remarkable example of Roman engineering and architecture. Despite damage from earthquakes and the passage of time, much of the structure remains intact, attracting millions of visitors each year.
Located in the heart of Rome, the Colosseum is also recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is considered one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. Visiting it offers a glimpse into the history, power, and daily life of ancient Rome.

Palatin
The Palatine Hill is one of the most ancient and important parts of Rome. Rising above the Roman Forum and close to the Colosseum, it is known as the legendary birthplace of the city.
According to Roman mythology, this is where Romulus founded Rome in 753 BC after defeating his brother Remus. Because of this, the hill holds a special place in Roman history and legend.
In ancient times, Palatine Hill became the most prestigious residential area in Rome. Emperors such as Augustus and Tiberius built grand palaces there, the ruins of which can still be explored today.
Visitors can walk among the remains of imperial palaces, gardens, and ancient structures while enjoying beautiful views over the Roman Forum and Circus Maximus. It’s a peaceful yet historically rich place that offers a deeper understanding of Rome’s origins and imperial past.

Forum Romanum
The Roman Forum was the political, social, and economic heart of ancient Rome. Located between the Palatine Hill and the Capitoline Hill, it was once a bustling center filled with temples, markets, government buildings, and public spaces.
In ancient times, the Forum was where citizens gathered for elections, speeches, trials, and important ceremonies. Some of the most significant events in Roman history took place here, involving figures like Julius Caesar and Cicero.
Today, the Roman Forum is an open-air archaeological site where visitors can walk among the ruins of ancient structures such as the Temple of Saturn, the Arch of Titus, and the Senate House (Curia). Although much of it is in ruins, it still offers a powerful glimpse into daily life and governance in ancient Rome.
Exploring the Forum alongside the Colosseum and Palatine Hill provides a complete journey through the rise and grandeur of the Roman Empire.
