Walnut Canyon Nature Trail
Dieser kleine Pfad ist nur wenige hundert Meter lang, bietet aber die Möglichkeit, einen kleinen Teil der Chihuahua-Wüste zu erkunden. Die Klippen des Walnut Canyon bieten möglicherweise Schatten. Hinweisschilder informieren über die Pflanzenwelt entlang des Pfades und im gesamten Park.

Walnut Canyon Nature Trail
Ein einfacher, gepflasterter Weg (hin und zurück) von weniger als einer halben Meile führt zu einem Aussichtspunkt mit Blick auf den Walnut Canyon. Keine große Wanderung, aber eine schöne Aussicht.

Besucherzentrum des Carlsbad Caverns Nationalparks
Hier bezahlen Sie Ihren Eintritt in den Park und können zusätzliche Führungen buchen. Sie können außerdem die Ausstellungen erkunden, in der Cafeteria (geöffnet von 8 bis 16 Uhr) etwas essen und im Souvenirladen Souvenirs kaufen. Von hier aus gelangen Sie auch in die Höhle, entweder mit dem Aufzug oder durch die Hintertür, die zum natürlichen Eingang führt.
