This morning, your private guide will pick you up around 8 am (available to change) for a full day tour of the pyramids at Giza and Saqqara. Start in chronological order, as it were, by visiting the step pyramid of Saqqara; the 1st ever pyramid built in the history of the mankind "Zoser Pyramid"4800 B.C, built by King Djoser, and then a quick visit to the Carpet School.

Then you will be driven to visit the ancient capital city of Memphis located about 24 kilometers south of Cairo. Memphis which was founded by King Menes, and was the capital of Egypt during the Old Kingdom. It was considered to be a center of rule and culture for over 3,000 years and was the first capital of Egypt. Though little remains of this pharaonic city, the open air museum here is worth a visit. See the huge fallen image of Ramesses II, which is 16 meters high and the great Alabaster Sphinx of Queen Hatshepsut at the museum.

Stop for lunch break (water and drinks not included) then, continue visiting the Giza Plateau to explore the world famous pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, Mycrenos and Sphinx; these structures that have stood tall for 4500 years.
