Malaiisches Technologiemuseum
The Museum building was a gift from Royal Dutch Shell in conjunction with Brunei Independence in 1984. Here, we trace the path of ancient times on how boatmaking, metal working and goldsmithing was done.

Jame' Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Moschee
Completed in 1994 to mark the monarch’s 25th year rule, the mosque has 29 golden domes to honour the 29th ruler of Brunei. It is considered to be a masterpiece of modern Islamic architecture in Asia with middle eastern influence interiors mixed with local accents.

Kampong Ayer – Venedig des Ostens
Known as the “Venice of the East”, it is one of the largest water village in Southeast Asia. This stretch of settlements on stilts is a must-visit for any tourist to Brunei. Start with a scenic boat ride of the Brunei River by “water taxi”, before taking a walk along wooden paths and bridges rich in Brunei culture and history.
