In the morning around 8am, your tour guide will meet you at your hotel lobby in Beijing. Take a one-hour drive to Dingling underground palace at the Ming Tombs. On the way your guide will provide you some information about the Ming Dynasty, their fascinating culture, life and people.

Dingling Tomb, the final resting place of the 13th Emperor Zhu Yijun who is known as the Wanli Emperor, is the only imperial tomb that has been excavated. Walk around in this amazing place, try to feel the history behind.

Then, you will head to the Summer Palace, while on the way there, you will have an authentic Chinese lunch in a local restaurant. Sample dishes: Gongbao Chicken Local mushroom and pork Vegetable dishes Muxu pork  Sweet and Sour pork/chicken Egg or soy sauce fried rice Spicy beans After lunch, continue to visit the Summer Palace. During the 40 minutes drive, your English speaking guide will give you another detailed explanation of the imperial palace.

In this beautiful place, you will visit the most important buildings and gardens: The Hall of Benevolence and Longevity The Kunming Lake The Longevity Mountain The Hall of Jade Ripples The Hall of Happiness and Longevity   The Long Corridor  The Marble Boat

Followed by your informative English speaking guide, you will spend 1.5-2 hours inside the Summer Palace.  After a great day of essential Beijing, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Beijing.
