Later, we drive through the Ounila Valley We reach Kasbah of Telout, which was the seat of the powerful Glaoui family’s controlling the region. They were given political power in southern Morocco by King Moulay Hassan. After the visit, we lunch in Telouet village,

then we continue our trip through beautiful Ounila Valley, a former route of the caravans from the Sahara over the Atlas Mountains to Marrakech.

We arrive at the famous Ksar Ait Benhaddou built in the 11th century (UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987), where Lawrence of Arabia, The Jewel of the Nile, Gladiator, and Alexander have been filmed. Night in the hotel nearby.
