Your Amazon adventure begins early in Cusco as we travel by private transportation through the Andes toward the Manu Biosphere Reserve. Along the route, we stop at the pre-Inca funerary towers of Ninamarca and the picturesque colonial town of Paucartambo before descending into the cloud forest. This region is famous for its lush vegetation, orchids, bromeliads, tree ferns, and incredible birdlife. One of the highlights is visiting the Cock-of-the-rock lek, where Peru’s national bird performs its spectacular mating dance.
