You should arrive in Arusha at least one day before the start of the tour. Pick-up from either Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro International Airport to your accommodation is included. You can choose to stay at our pre-selected accommodation, where the overnight stay and breakfast are included. Alternatively, you may book your own accommodation (not included) within 2 km of Arusha city center. Tour pick-up on the first day begins at 7:30 AM.

After being picked up from your accommodation, you’ll receive a picnic lunch box and head to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive. Established to protect Africa’s iconic big cats, Tarangire National Park offers game drives along the Tarangire River Circuit, where predators like leopards, cheetahs, and lions can often be seen hunting among the grazing herbivores at the river’s edge.

You’ll stop for a picnic lunch at a scenic viewpoint overlooking the winding Tarangire River. Afterward, continue your game drive through different areas of the park, where you may encounter elephants, wildebeest, gazelles, antelopes, ostriches, giraffes, buffaloes, and many other mammals and birds. In the late afternoon, enjoy a delicious dinner featuring traditional Tanzanian cuisine, followed by an overnight stay in a unique African Igloo. From the lodge’s viewpoint, relax and enjoy an incredible sunset over the landscape.
