Your adventure to the Masai Mara begins today. Abana Safaris representatives will meet you at your residence in Nairobi for a short briefing and immediately after begin your journey. You will drive to Masai Mara through the Great Rift Valley. You will have a brief stop-over at the view point to be explained on how the Rift Valley was formed and thereafter, proceed with your journey. Masai Mara is considered to be the jewel and highlight of any Kenyan safari. You'll be enchanted by the diversity of animals, and topography. In late spring, the grazers mainly wildebeest, cross the river bordering Tanzania with Kenya and travel north to the Masai Mara for the green grasses. Of course, the predators follow. Here there are sightings of lion, cheetah, elephant, giraffe, hyena, warthog, wildebeest, and zebra, just to name but a few. On arrival at the Camp you will check-in and have lunch. Later in the afternoon we will have a game drive through the park for 2 hours thereafter return for dinner and overnight at the camp.
