While driving on Karakoram Highway, you can not only view the Uyghur villages and Kirghiz yurts, but also see the splendid scenery on Pamir Plateau. as important part of the ancient silk road, Kalakuli Lake is a rare plateau lake in the world, the lake is surrounded by glaciers and snow bergs, especially Gongger, Gongger Jiubie Peak and Muztag Peak, which add magical and beautiful colours to the lake. In the calm and tranquil days, you will see the bright silver peaks and green grasslands which is quite worth to visit. we will drive to Tashkurgan in the late afternoon.
