As we skirt the majestic Nahuel Huapi Lake, we cross the Limay River, marking the transition into the vast Patagonian Steppe. The striking contrast between turquoise waters and arid land creates a unique landscape. We arrive at the natural amphitheater, a viewpoint seemingly carved to showcase the river’s grandeur—a perfect spot to pause and soak in the peaceful surroundings.

Leaving the usual roads behind, we venture 67 km along gravel paths through Paso Córdoba. Here, wind-sculpted hills and the solitude of the route create an authentic, off-the-beaten-path experience where silence reigns.

A small, picturesque village on the shores of Lake Meliquina, perfect for a lunch break and to enjoy the calm of deep Patagonia, far from the crowds. Its wooden houses and untouched nature offer a genuine respite.

Our final stop of the day, a charming lakeside town by Lake Lácar with alpine-style streets, cafés, and a relaxed atmosphere. Ideal for a stroll, exploring the town center, and preparing for the next day.
