Charyn Canyon, Moon Canyon & Saty Village

Charyn Canyon
Your journey begins with a morning pick-up(07:30-08:00am) from your accommodation in Almaty, followed by a scenic drive(2-3h) towards Charyn Canyon.
Upon arrival, you will explore the canyon on foot, walking(2-3h) through the famous Valley of Castles. This area is known for its unique rock formations shaped over millions of years. You will have time to enjoy panoramic viewpoints, take photos, and explore the surroundings.
Afterward, continue to Kurtogay Moon Canyon, where the landscape changes dramatically. The soft, layered hills create a distinctive moon-like scenery, offering a completely different visual experience.
The next stop is Black Canyon, where you will enjoy a short stop at a viewpoint overlooking the deep river gorge — a perfect place for photos and a quick rest.
In the evening, you will arrive in Saty village, check in at a guest house, and enjoy a traditional dinner.
