This 2-day adventure offers travelers the chance to explore the true heart of the Moroccan Sahara in complete authenticity. Starting from Mhamid, the last village before the vast desert, you’ll travel by 4×4 across rocky plains and sand dunes to reach the spectacular Erg Chegaga — one of Morocco’s most remote and untouched dune regions.
Along the way, you’ll witness the stunning contrast between palm groves, dry riverbeds, and golden dunes shaped by the wind. At sunset, enjoy a peaceful camel ride before spending the night in a traditional Berber camp under a sky filled with stars.

If you are staying nearby, pickup can be arranged from your accommodation in Mhamid upon request.
