Join us for a small-group Northern Lights adventure from Bodø where we go all-in to give you the best possible chance of seeing the Aurora. We follow the weather, cloud cover and Aurora forecasts throughout the evening and use our local knowledge to decide where to go. If conditions around Bodø are not favourable, we go further into the countryside, sometimes towards the Swedish border. We don’t have a fixed turnaround time. When conditions are challenging but there is still a realistic chance of seeing the Northern Lights, we stay out longer, giving the skies more time to clear. Some nights this means returning to Bodø as late as around 2 AM. Our approach has resulted in an Aurora sighting rate of around 85%. We travel in a comfortable Mercedes 4WD van with a maximum of six guests. We’ll share local knowledge about the landscape and the Aurora, take high-quality photos for you, and provide warm drinks and snacks. Warm clothing and headlamps are also available if needed.

Join us for an evening safari into the Northern Norwegian landscape with a local guide who knows the habits and life of the moose and where we have the best chance of seeing them. The Moose – elg in Norwegian – is Europe’s largest land animal. Despite its size, it is shy and cautious, but often allow us to get quite near. We observe from a respectful distance and never disturb the animals. Our aim is to experience them as they are – calm, natural, and undisturbed in their own environment. On the way, we pass Saltstraumen, home to the world’s strongest tidal current – an impressive natural phenomenon that adds another highlight to the tour. Along the route, there are also chances to see other wildlife, such as reindeer and white-tailed eagle. We take time to enjoy the surroundings, with good opportunity for photography throughout the tour. Snacks, warm drinks, and photos from the experience are included – so you can stay present while we help capture the moments.

Bergab ist einfach und so aufregend, wie Sie es bevorzugen - halten Sie einfach Ihre Geschwindigkeit auf einem angenehmen Niveau und erschrecken Sie diejenigen nicht, die auf dem Weg nach oben sind. Während der Fahrt kommunizieren wir mit Walkie Talkies – für Guiding- und Heads-up-Situationen.

Hamarøyskaftet ist einer der charakteristischsten Berge in Nordnorwegen. Es ist weniger bekannt als Stetind und der Gipfel liegt nur 613 Meter über dem Meeresspiegel. Zum Erreichen des Gipfels ist etwas alpines Klettern erforderlich. Begleiten Sie uns auf einem geführten Aufstieg und lassen Sie sich überraschen, wie viel Spaß diese Reise macht! Hamarøyskaftet ist kein sehr schwieriger Aufstieg, aber Sie werden immer noch Seile und Guiding brauchen, um den Gipfel zu erreichen. Sie müssen sich mit etwas luftigem Klettern wohl fühlen. Zwischen den alpinen Abschnitten finden Sie große Felsvorsprünge, auf denen Sie sich ausruhen können, während Sie die herrliche Aussicht genießen. Nach einem fünf Kilometer langen Spaziergang vom Parkplatz sehen wir das Plateau, auf dem Rabothytta steht und einen abenteuerlichen Anblick bildet, über dem der Nebel dicht hängt. Das Gebäude gleitet mit seinen diagonalen Formen und Erdtönen in die Landschaft. Majestätisch liegt es dort und wartet auf Sie, wenn Sie sich 1.200 Metern über dem Meeresspiegel nähern. Rabothytta befindet sich am Ende von Okstindbreen und das blaue Eis bildet einen fantastischen Kontrast zur Farbe der Kabine. … Und die Aussicht; es nimmt dir einfach den Atem!
