We pass by the Liberia City (Guanacaste's capital) when we're on the way to Guachipelín.

Enjoy a visit to Oropendola Waterfall, a scenic cascade surrounded by lush tropical vegetation. Take time to admire the natural surroundings and cool off in the refreshing waters of this beautiful waterfall located within the volcanic landscape of Guanacaste.

This volcano will be visible when the group is on the way to the location, and when moving from the Waterfall to the Hot Springs (as long as the weather allows it).

Relax in naturally heated hot springs fed by underground volcanic activity. This stop also includes a volcanic mud bath, known for its mineral-rich properties, followed by time to rinse off and unwind in warm thermal pools surrounded by nature.

Pass through the geothermal area of the region, where you can observe visible geothermal infrastructure along the route, including pipes, water treatment pools, and the geothermal plant. This area provides insight into how Costa Rica harnesses volcanic energy in a sustainable way.

Visit Hacienda Guachipelín, a traditional Costa Rican hacienda where you will enjoy a local lunch. The hacienda offers a glimpse into regional culture, featuring rustic architecture, open-air spaces, and a relaxed countryside atmosphere representative of Guanacaste’s heritage.
