Hey, I'm Daniel. For over 10 years I shot for Italian high fashion, Fendi and Dolce & Gabbana among them. But what I wanted to photograph was spontaneity, real people. That's what I do now, and it makes me happy. I photograph couples, families, solo travelers and the moments that deserve to be remembered. We usually start at the iconic Rialto Bridge, with the Grand Canal behind you and the boats going by. I know where to shoot so it looks free of tourists. Then we leave the crowds and head into the quieter neighborhoods: Cannaregio, Dorsoduro or the calli around the Arsenale. This is my favorite part. Narrow canals, laundry hanging overhead, small squares where children play and time seems to stop. This is the Venice where we locals really live. I'll show you hidden corners the tourist routes never reach. We reach the San Marco area, the most iconic part of the city, at the best hour. The square, the Bridge of Sighs, the Giardini Reali, all in the best light of the day. When the city turns go...
