Important Note for Disabled Visitors Disabled visitors with certified disability of at least 67% are entitled to free entry to the Vatican Museums. If the visitor is not self‑sufficient, one companion also receives free entry. These free tickets cannot be booked online — they are issued directly at the Special Permits or Welcome Desk inside the entrance hall upon showing valid disability documentation. Disabled visitors (and their companion) receive priority skip‑the‑line access, with no need to queue or reserve anything in advance.
