Mongolia is the birthplace of Tengerism, the world's oldest spiritual tradition. For four days in June, the open steppe just beyond Ulaanbaatar becomes the gathering point for 900 shamans from 40 nations — all answering the call of the Eternal Blue Sky. Mongolia is not simply hosting this festival — it is the living origin of world shamanism. For over 3,000 years, the boundless steppe and Eternal Blue Sky have been the cradle of Tengerism, the oldest spiritual tradition known to humankind. Long before Buddhism, long before written scripture, Mongolian shamans were the bridge between human and spirit worlds — worshipping sky, earth, fire, water, and the ancestors who shaped the land beneath their feet. Now, for the third time, the world answers the call. The Tenger World Shaman Festival brings together over 900 shamans from 21 nations — converging on Ulaanbaatar to share, honour, and practise their traditions side by side. This is not a cult...
