Just 25 minutes east of Lucca, this private experience takes place at a scenic winery surrounded by vineyards and olive trees. Roll up your sleeves for a relaxed 2 hour cooking class, where you’ll prepare classic dishes using fresh local ingredients... and plenty of laughter. Afterwards, sit down to enjoy the fruits of your labor with a light Tuscan lunch, perfectly paired with the estate’s own wines. After a 45-minute drive from Livorno, we'll arrive in the countryside just east of Lucca, in the Montecarlo di Lucca wine region. Fattoria Carmignani is a family run boutique winery, a simple but classic country estate that has been producing quality wines with love for decades. The Carmignani family has been winemakers in this area since 1386.
The cooking lesson is hands-on and lasts about 1 hour and a half. It will be followed by a lunch (approx. 1,5 hours) of the dishes you've prepared. A guided tasting of five of the estate's wines will accompany the meal. A walk through the vineyards with the winemaker completes the experience.
