Your first stop is a local olive oil factory where you will learn about one of Crete’s most important traditions. You will see how olive oil is produced and have the opportunity to taste authentic Cretan extra virgin olive oil.

We continue toward the charming village of Vryses, a lovely green village known for its natural springs and large plane trees. Here we stop for a relaxing coffee break in the village square.

After Vryses we head toward the White Mountains and enjoy a beautiful drive through the impressive Therisso Gorge. The road passes between dramatic cliffs, lush vegetation, and small mountain streams, making it one of the most scenic drives in the Chania region.

At the end of the gorge we arrive at the historic village of Therisso. Here we will stop to explore the village and enjoy lunch at a local traditional taverna, where you can taste authentic Cretan dishes prepared with fresh local ingredients.

In the afternoon we arrive in Chania, one of the most beautiful towns in Crete. You will have time to explore the famous Venetian harbor, walk through the picturesque old town streets, admire the lighthouse, and enjoy the unique blend of Venetian, Ottoman, and Cretan architecture.

We conclude the day with drop-off at Souda Port. This day offers a wonderful combination of countryside scenery, traditional villages, dramatic landscapes, authentic Cretan cuisine, and the historic beauty of Chania.
